Protesters will rally again on Wednesday in protest of the shooting
death of Amadou Diallo by police officers.
The latest event is scheduled to take place in front of the Bronx County
Courthouse where a grand jury is hearing evidence in the case. The
Reverend Al Sharpton is heading the rally.
A rally on Monday afternoon near City Hall ended in confrontation.
Police arrested eight whites after they chaining themselves together to
block traffic, in support of the Amadou Diallo case.
Diallo was unarmed when he was shot at 41 times by four police officers
outside his home in the Bronx on February 4. The officers involved have
not been charged with any crimes.
